Each semester, Spears Group seeks qualified college students to participate in our Junior Associate Program. This is a paid internship with an opportunity for professional growth and development, as well as course credit. The program focuses on providing an immersive view into the daily functions of agency life, hands-on experience working on real client work, cross-functional collaboration and a lot more. Our goal is that you leave with new skills, work for your portfolio and a deeper understanding of the advertising industry.
The Fall 2024 Junior Associate Program will run September 3 – December 31, 2024. This exciting opportunity is hybrid, with time spent at our office in downtown New Orleans and in-person with our award-winning team of marketing professionals.
The Account Services Junior Associate will work heavily with our award-winning Account Team to plan and execute comprehensive campaigns for our clients. You’ll get mentorship and hands-on experience in market research, strategy development, PR writing and pitching, event planning, social media and more.
Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, self-starter and creative thinker, positive attitude and enthusiasm for collaborating with and learning from others, detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize workload and effectively manage deadlines. Previous internship or work experience in PR or marketing is a plus.
Preferred Majors: Public Relations, Mass Communication, Marketing, Advertising or a related field.
The Creative Junior Associate will work heavily with our award-winning Creative Team to design compelling visual content for our clients. You’ll get mentorship and hands-on experience in the conceptual development and design of social media content, print and digital ads, presentations, marketing collateral and more.
Requirements: Design portfolio must be submitted with application to be considered.
Qualifications: Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro, creative flair with a strong ability to translate requirements into design, ability to adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to deadlines, positive attitude and enthusiasm for collaborating with and learning from others. Previous internship or work experience is a plus.
Preferred Majors: Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Arts or a related field.
