In partnership with Xavier University of Louisiana and Ochsner Health, Spears Group led the strategic rollout of the Xavier Ochsner College of Medicine (XOCOM), the Gulf South’s first HBCU medical school. Beyond communications strategy, our team built the XOCOM brand from the ground up — leading logo development, visual identity creation, and comprehensive asset production to establish a powerful and cohesive presence across platforms. From the official signing to a national panel discussion at ESSENCE Festival, our work helped shape the public narrative around this historic initiative, cementing XOCOM’s place as a leader in healthcare education. Our team didn’t just promote a medical school — we helped launch a movement. By amplifying XOCOM’s vision on national stages and supporting it with a fully realized brand ecosystem, we positioned the institution as a transformative force poised to reshape the future of healthcare from the moment it opened its doors.
