Campaign Overview

Everyone deserves access to the best possible student experience. That’s what the experts at Throughline Learning (formerly Highlander Institute)–based out of Providence, Rhode Island–are there to lead. Spears Group embarked on a year-long rebranding process to create a new identity that embodied the complex and comprehensive nature of their work. The result? Throughline Learning. The naming process was a rigorous one, starting with practicality and moving towards abstraction. A “throughline” is a thread that weaves together disparate elements to form a cohesive whole. This concept inspired the new name, which reflects and resonates with the organization’s mission, vision, and values, while emphasizing local context and alignment with schools. Throughline is the culmination of teamwork and perseverance, taking Highlander on a mosaic journey and ultimately landing on a name that not only feels right but also looks the part.
