The National Fried Chicken Festival presented by Raising Cane’s has become one of the country’s most beloved food festivals. It attracts guests from across the country to contribute to New Orleans’ economy and provides a platform for independently owned restaurants to showcase their southern culture. In addition to creating the fest, Spears also led the way in 2022 by debuting a new festival space in the city: the lakefront. We also expand the festival from one to two, increased the number of vendors, offered more activities and entertainment with two main stages for live music, a car show, cooking demonstrations, a Fan Zone, children’s area and much more.
Spears Group designed and developed a fully responsive website for attendee information, sponsorships, developing news and content, and ongoing event schedules and run of show. While the fest is our own creation, it’s also our own client. Not only are we planning and building the experience itself, but marketing it just like a client. From creative advertising, videos and photos, to media planning and placement—we’re doing it all.
