BACKGROUND

Since being named agency of record for the New Orleans Business Alliance (NOLABA) on January 25, 2019, Spears Group has led all marketing efforts on behalf of the organization, including the development and implementation of a new brand, logo, tagline, and corresponding assets, a fully redeveloped website, social media strategy and page management, earned media and executive visibility tactics for NOLABA leadership, and several high-profile, award-winning projects and campaigns.

InvestNOLA Relief Fund

In an ongoing effort to support the capital needs of local small businesses during and beyond COVID, Spears supported NOLABA in the development and launch of its InvestNOLA COVID Relief Loan Fund. In less than a month, Spears developed a new logo and brand identity for the initiative, built and launched a comprehensive third-party webpage to support applications, and created a suite of branded informational assets, press materials, and more to facilitate the fund’s announcement at a press event in August 2021 with Mayor LaToya Cantrell and CDFI partners. The new website came on the heels of our brand refresh, coinciding with plans to announce a number of new digital Economic Development tools. We unveiled the new site at NOLABA’s first Annual Luncheon, along with an extensive impact report book. 

To support the site and brand content, we organized and directed extensive photo and video shoots, including aerial videography of multiple neighborhoods across the city.
