On Saturday, May 6, more than 25,000 youth throughout Louisiana participated in Lemonade Day Louisiana, surpassing previous year's enrollment.

For six consecutive years, Spears Group has led all strategic marketing and media relations for the state-wide event, along with tasting contests. Media throughout Louisiana covered the event including Yahoo News, The Advocate, Times-Picayune, Shreveport Times, News Star, American Press, The Advertiser, Biz New Orleans and more.

Annually, Lemonade Day provides children with the opportunity to become entrepreneurs. The free, community-wide initiative serves as an opportunity to teach children how to start, own and operate their own business by establishing a lemonade stand. In 2010, Lemonade Day Louisiana was founded by entrepreneurs Todd Graves, CEO of Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers, and John Georges, President and CEO of Georges Enterprises. Since then, the event has helped many kids develop skills in self-reliance, financial literacy and more, along with introducing the important business and entrepreneurial skills.

Alongside Spears Group, with presenting sponsors Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers and The Advocate, dozens of sponsors from around Louisiana teamed up to make Lemonade Day successful including Synergy Bank, Gibbs Construction, CenturyLink, Business Report, LSU E.J. Ourso College of Business and more.
