Spears Group Hosted the Fifth Edition of Le Dîner en Blanc on May 13th

The event included nearly 4,500 guests dressed in white at a secret location in the city of New Orleans.

Le Dîner en Blanc – New Orleans celebrated its fifth edition on Saturday, May 13, 2017. Nearly 4,500 people attended the French-inspired, spring tradition dressed to impress in all white. This year’s secret location, which Spears Group unveiled the morning of the event, was Lakeshore Drive in New Orleans.

Guests arrived at 6:30 p.m., nearing sunset, to set up their gourmet picnics, which included fine china and silverware, white table settings, and white tables and chairs. At 7:00 p.m., the official start of the dinner commenced with the traditional napkin wave. The dance floor opened up at 8:30 p.m. and guests were treated to entertainment from T-Ray the Violinist and Dj Raj Smooth along with a surprise musical performances from Doug E Fresh. The night came to a close with a phenomenal, five-minute firework show.

François Pasquier hosted Le Dîner en Blanc for the first time in Paris in 1988. The event has grown significantly, becoming a huge success among five continents. Hosted in nearly 70 cities and 25 countries worldwide, Le Dîner en Blanc has kept up with its original traditions gathering guests at secret locations and having them share gourmet meals with friends. In all its locations, the event is run by hand-selected, local companies with the goal of bringing their cities together and joining in a spectacular event that leaves all its participants in awe.
